This book is the sequel to the clockwork angel by Cassandra Clare. Today I am reviewing the Clockwork Prince. The characters are all the same except at the end of the book Cecile,Will's little sister arrives and Charlotte tells everyone that she is pregnant. The story is quite good with everyone starting to have relationships. The setting is shown in a brighter light, so there are less dark and spooky descriptions. The story is a bit similar to the old one. Some of the twist of the plot were not as good as the old book. I rated this book a 7.5 out of 10.
A character that I think has changed in the book was Will. Will in the previous book was cold and mysterious and we always wonder what caused him to be like this. So its hard to get a sense of why he acts so cold and rude to people. In this book, we find out why he acts so coldly. When Will was still an apprentice shadow hunter, he caught a demon but before Will sent the demon to the demon world. He casts a curse saying ' all those who will love or like him will die'. So Will acts rude so no one will like him so they don't die. But in this book, Will learns the curse is fake and he tells Tessa everything.
